I'm currently in the rogue's guild up in Morroc. However Sascha asked that we meet in Prontera before us rogues head to Comodo. He asked me to go through you to set up the appointment. So, thank you for your time.

Hey, I should be in Schwarzwald on New Year's day if all goes to plan. The airship will be stopping off right in Hugal Town. So, if I'm not caught and rotting in a Schwarzwald prison I should be in town. I've got your present with me.

Christmas "shopping"

Kit found an exotic oil vendor an easy mark two nights before Christmas. The man was light skinned, Midgardian, most likely here on business from elsewhere.

Kit followed the man, and his stash of oils and incense in his cart. The Midgardian trudged down the muddy streets, pulling his cart slowly behind him. Kit shadowed him until the man made it to a high class tavern, Draco's Mark.

The man paid a stableboy half a zenny to stable his horse and went inside. The man screamed out for the boy the man walked over and fumbled through his stash. He took five bottles and two golden tins out. He dismissed the boy again and went into the tavern.

Kit followed the man in. The Mark was, afterall, rogue owned.

The minstrels hadn't started up yet, but the mummer of conversation made music of its own. A clash of languages flooded Kits ears recognized words and garbled sentences.

After the minstrel went to bed Kit went up to the owner behind the bar. "Hey Martel," Kit said, popping up on a stool.

"Welcome. Are you here to here for dice games? I heard you took quite a beating last time." Martel picked up a glass and began wiping the inside with a rag.

"I've got an appointment with a merchant. No noise."

The tavern owner nodded. "Which one?"

"The Midgardian with the oil cart." Kit gave a description of the man, a few sentences in Martel interrupted him-

"He's in room twelve. Atrocious tipper. Oh, and remember the appointment fee."

"Of course."

With Martel's blessing, Kit slipped outside and around the back of the tavern. The building was made of smooth stone. Not easily climbed, but Kit hadn't found a building yet he couldn't scale.

Kit watched the light in the merchant's window. After an hour or so the lamp fluttered out. Kit waited a half hour longer and hoisted himself to the second story window. Kit pulled his head over the windowsill. The moonlight gave all the illumination he required to see that the merchant was tucked snugly in bed. The atrocious snoring was another clue.

Kit pulled himself into the glassless window. Carefully he went through all of the merchant's belongings. It turns out he hid the glass vials in his drawer wrapped in his underwear. "As long as I don't tell her where I found it I'll be golden." Kit thought.

After lifting the merchant's coin purse, Kit slipped out the window and back into the tavern. He gave the owner his commission and went back to the guild hall.

"Now to get on an airship to Hugal." Kit thought.
